| I.P Abstract & Summary |
The present invention relates to a metal heater system comprising: a plurality of metal heaters connected to the lower end surface of a pipe at regular intervals along the longitudinal direction of the pipe; a band for fixing the metal heaters to the pipe; a temperature sensor connected to the pipe so as to measure the temperature of the pipe; a metal heater control part for controlling the operation of the metal heaters; and a control part for controlling the metal heater control part, wherein convection occurs in the pipe because of the conduction of heat in the region at which the metal heaters are connected to the pipe. Therefore, a PTC heating element in the metal heater conducts heat to a local site of the pipe, and convection occurs in a fluid inside the pipe because of the heat conducted to the local site, such that the entire pipe is maintained at a constant temperature, thereby enabling the pipe to be efficiently prevented from freezing and bursting in the winter. |
