| I.P Abstract & Summary | Provided is a roof box mounting apparatus that can reduce noise and is robust and easy to install. The mounting apparatus comprises: a pair of roof rails fixed to opposite sides of the roof panel of a vehicle along the longitudinal direction; a plurality of crossbars, each being detachably fixed to the pair of roof rails at opposite end portions thereof, wherein a roof box is mounted on the plurality of crossbars; and a plurality of fixing means for detachably fixing the crossbars to the pair of roof rails, wherein the bottom surface of each crossbar has the same curvature as that of the surface of the roof panel such that the crossbar is mounted on the roof panel while being brought into contact with the same; each fixing means includes a first fixing bracket provided to move along the roof rail and a second fixing bracket that is screw-coupled with the first fixing bracket to fix the first fixing bracket to the roof rails and to which an end portion of each cross bar is fixed. |
